I think this is one of the best C&V threads ever, and most of the photos don't even have bikes in them. Seriously, it's hard to not click "like" on every single post.

Only the most elevated 300 feet or so got snow here in Belgium and even that doesn't happen every year. Twas fun, huevos helados but still, fun!

we finally had some temperatures cold enough to clear the overcast skies, and it was nice!
A view along River Beach Drive, adjacent to the Illinois river...
The climb out of the river valley was made using Singing Woods Road. This is a scenic little road and with little traffic (even for this area). Unfortunately, there was some freezing mist the night before, and it was completely covered in wet ice! It was pretty obvious, so I just got off the bike and walked on the shoulder.

One of the things I take from this thread that many of us are self-conscious about taking photos of our bike leaning on a scenic tree or whatever. Consequently, we wait for a moment when no cars are in sight to take the picture.

Up until last year this was one of the nicest stretches of cobbles in the Hoegaerden region. What a waste!
