I'm running SRAM PC-870 on just about everything. Had a problem only once when the quick-link came apart (and I was 30 miles from home). I figure I'll never wear them out. Maybe something cheaper would make more sense. I dunno', they just seem to work.

I use KMC 50 on my brown freewheels (perfect 888) and KMC 51 chrome on my silver freewheels (Suntour winner). I think it looks weird if the chain doesn't match the freewheel. I don't clean my chains, just lube them when they look rusty or make noise.

On my campy bikes I use campy chains.
