Montbeliard, France
Dijon, France
Dijon- Pro criterium held in the early evening.
I think this is political advertising, but I'm not sure because there is no name, just a number. Côte-d'Or is a department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of Northeastern France. Someone handed it to my wife. It is a blow up "clapper" (noise maker). You beat them together and and cheer your favorite riders.

Previously posted at another thread. Being a favorite of my touring pics here it is again ...
Beryl Lake, Jasper NP
It was taken on a day hike while staying at the Mount Edith Cavell Hostel up a side road off the Icefields Parkway near Jasper at the conclusion of a long western bike trip ...

Great! Been there though, didn't recognize the scenery. To the west the area is more forested — or deforested by fire.

I did a little road touring in that area back in 2000 during 7 weeks in Andalucia. Spent a night in Cazoral. I was going to head north but it was too cold for my liking. (There was snow on he hills around town.) Ended up going through Quesada and over Puerto de Tiscar then through Pozo Alcon, Castril and Huescar. Very pretty. It was mid-spring, so very little traffic at all. Descending Tiscar I could see the Sierra Nevada poking through the clouds. The day from Cazoral to a campground about 4 miles outside of Pozo was 36 miles with over 4,300' of climbing according to RWGPS.

A few photos from last week touring through eastern Arkansas and western Tennessee.
Can you guess what town we were near when we stayed at this KOA campground for the night ?
Unless you are older, you probably wouldn't know, of course Memphis, TN, home of the King and Graceland.
A photo of the wonderful bicycle/pedestrian bridge crossing the Mighty Mississippi into Memphis and a night of BBQ and Blues on Beale Street
With no campgrounds or hotels nearby, a small rural volunteer fire department allowed us to spend the night inside. This is why I like a freestanding tent.
And finally, a shot of our rough and tough biker gang heading across the Mississippi Delta.

Beautiful photo. Have only been up through the Glacier/Banff region once. Probably time to head up there again.
Man, but that ~8ft wide shoulder (emergency lane) area is a thing of beauty, for cycling. Wish every road had that sort of thing.
