Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes. The paupers ride the $5,000 Pinarello.

Stick the Edge in your pocket. The old ones, at least, did have other sport profiles hidden somewhere.

Pretty sure it’d just look like a scribble though.

Funny scene this morning as I am pulling into the office parking lot, which is currently being covered with elevated solar panels. A worker is running through the parking lot at a pretty decent clip. I realize he's heading to the Porta-Potty. Must have had some digestive distress because he was still in there even after I gathered my stuff together in the car and meandered to the building's door.

Friend stocked up on GP5000 tires and doesn't want to use them because they are so difficult to get on and off of his Dura Ace rims. Says he'll sell them to me cheap. With the recent problems I've had with Vittoria Rubino Pro tires dry rotting and cracking maybe I should give them a try.

Passed a Bu-cees in KY. I didn’t stop. It looked ridiculous.

There's a Buc-ees in KY? Now I'mma have to look that up so that I can stop on my way through to VA.

Edit: about a half-hour south of Lexington, which is where we often stop for the night... I might make that detour.

That said, I honestly don't think it's an especially good opener, if you get my drift.
