Ah I missed that! I wish PX-10s were my thing, that bike is beautiful and looks like the perfect size.

Actual measurements are: seat tube 59cm c-t-t (and 55cm c-t-c) top tube ~56 c-t-c. I'm planning on finishing it this weekend. The lousy pic above is "as found." I'm building it catalog-correct (except consumables), and I have all the right parts to do it except possibly the one of the toe cages on the 105 pedals.

That is an awesome bike, but I would prefer something steel. Also a bump in case someone else might be interested in your bike.

I have a 63 cm (CTT) 1983 Serotta Club Special frame. Top tube is 59 cm CTC.

Built with Columbus tubeset (mix). The finish is good, but with chips, and the decals are falling off it; but it's an extremely clean and elegant fabrication job -- well worth a refinish and decal replacement. I bought it as a complete bike with a mid-80s Super Record group, MA2 rims. If you really wanted a whole-bike trade, I could easily do that, and replace the components that need it (see my description on Flickr) with high-quality ones equal to what it had. Or else you could keep what's on the Paramount and build the Serotta with that kit.

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.

Here's the actual bike I was offering a few post above, built up now. All catalog-spec now, except for pedals, which I believe are coming soon.* A very stiff and efficient bike, to be sure. But too small for me. Going to put in on the local CL, but if you have an interesting 60-62cm frame for trade, let me know.

*Also, the freewheel is a 14-32 instead of the original one which only goes up to 24 on the big cog. I can swap that one back in for originality, if desired.

My 58x59 PX-10 was fun, but I'm a 63cm guy. I'm looking to trade frames (not complete). I'm in the SF Bay Area (Martinez).

I have a 1974 63.5 cm CTT x 59 cm (25" per catalog) PX-10LE frame, in blue/black.

That would fit the gear and tires you have on your PX-10. You can see more photos here:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/131757...57624629765790

I also have a similar-sized 1983 red Serotta Club Special frame (first pictured/described a few post-entries above).
Here's a link to that frame's Flickr photos:

https://www.flickr.com/photos/131757...57625715601457

They weigh about the same for frame and fork. The Serotta has beautiful paint, but it's chipped from gravel, and the decals are disintegrating. It's definitely a classier construction job, but it won't fit more than a 28 mm-wide rear tire at 700C, while the PX-10LE will take a 42 mm tire for sure, in either 700C or 650B. Frame swap, or frame plus critical parts (I have these for both frames) would be OK with me.

1982/83 Team Fuji original 55cm

Trying to figure out what to do with this one. A 1982 55cm (ctt) Team Fuji bought from the original owner. Everything appears in tact from the showroom, albeit a well ridden bike as the Huret odometer appears to have 6,900 miles recorded. Original brown cables, bar tape, brown saddle (torn) and weighing in fully loaded with pump and pedals at 24lbs. I decided to see if this appeals to any BF member in trade as I am looking for something interesting in a 60-64 range.

1986 Schwinn Tempo 25"/63-64 cm

I have the following Schwinn Tempo that is too large for me. I would be willing to trade for something similar (or possibly trade up) for something in the 57-58 cm size. I am partial US, Japanese, Italian brands and 1980s vintage.

Schwinn Tempo - 2406 stamped on the head badge
Tange Falcon Headset included
Seat Tube CTT 25" (63.5 cm)
Top Tube CTC just under 23" (58 cm)
Rear Spacing 126 mm
Columbus Tenax tubing

Hello!

I have to post this here out of curiousity more than anything... I am still slightly disappointed that my beautiful Carlton Continental is a bit small for me. It's a 58cm (c-t) frame and I would ideally like to find an English lightweight bike or frame of similar vintage or prestige in the 61-63cm range. I am very interested in fancy lugs. I would trade the whole Carlton bike for the right frame set were it to come along... Cheers!

Ouch. Only slightly disappointed?

Best of luck in your search for a suitable replacement.

Picked this up as a potential build, but the frame is just to small for me. 56-57cm center of crank to the top of the seat tube. Color is called Caribbean Linear Fade.
No dents or dings, & paint is in decent shape except for some chips along the DS Chainstays. Would like to find something in the 59-62cm size, but open to anything interesting. There a couple of these frames 4 sale right now on e-pay, but would prefer to not go that route.
I am in the Atlanta metro area. Anyone interested please PM me.

Thanks. Yeah, truth be told, it is only slight... I purchased the bike knowing full well I might not enjoy it because it was too small, and told my wife I bought it specifically to sell. That was my full intention until I actually realized how awesome it is! Still, since it's a bit small I have it listed on Ebay but the price is set where I won't regret the sale, and also don't necessarily expect it to sell fast so that I can continue enjoying it for the time being.

It wouldn't be easy to explain trading it away for a personal ride, but I think I can manage it! I have four other bikes that are much more definitely for sale or shall be soon. That should work for appeasement.

Cheers!

-Gregory

First time posting here so let me know if I did anything wrong haha
Dave Quinn 55.5cm seat tube 57cm top tube. Frame and fork both reynolds 531
All the gear is Shimano 501 sigh a bipace drive train. 14 speeds 2x7
The wheel set is Lambda Strada Campagnolos.
The handle bars are Cinelli giro d'italia road bars with the original Cinelli XA quill stem.
Both wheels are 700c size with new tubes and new Continential Touring Plus tires on them
I'm looking for something between 59-61 cm

Full disclosures: The brakes have some patena on the bolts. I cleaned them up as best I could.
The seatpost bolt looks pretty ugly with rust but it tightens and loosens no problem.
I had it straignthed at my bike shop because the rear dropouts where out of alignment but the shop said it should be solid.
Also something rattles in the top tube. Its sealed at both ends so I'm assuming it's in there from the original build. Doesnt rattle during riding at all but if you turn the bike around in the air you'll eventually hear it a bit.
It's got some dings in the top tube and seat tube but nothing major.
(this is a wonderful community and I wanna put it all on the table so no one feels lied too, IMHO none of this is very bad and it didnt stop me from buying the bike, but one of these may be a deal breaker for some of you and I totally get that.)
pics below
willing to trade full bike or just the frameset.
I'm in portland oregon and would love to trade local but could also ship it.
Thanks!

I think hes a real beauty but its just too small for me

Dings just below 531 decal

Top rube dings

Hubs are noth shimano 105

Little patena on the bolt. Works great still, just doesn't look so pretty.

There is that ugly seat post screw.

Drivetrain (shifts beautifully!)

Looks like someone might have already gotten a hold of you but if not, my Dave Quinn directly above may fit your bill at 55.5 cm seatpost. It has a longer than average TT(57cm).

It appears to be mostly original with simplex shifters and rear derailleur, mafac brakes, stronglight cranks, and normandy hubs with mavic sewup rims. Even has a matching water bottle. Only part that sticks out is the suntour cyclone front derailleur.
Had no dents or dings that I can see, but has some scuffs, some of which were touched up at some point on the top tube. I would like to keep this bike intact, preferable trade for a whole bike unless you have a super neat-o frameset. Also, sorry for the picture quality. I'm between real phones right now.
If no one has taken you up the Dave Quinn I just posted may be something you might like?
