Scored this 60's Conti. while working at the co-op today. Slow day so I went looking around. Saw it and just had to have it. All the cool 60's parts are still on it besides the chrome fork. No big deal, I have a black Schwinn fork that will fit it. It is a triple too, how cool!

Got an aluminum GT road bike with a full campy chours/record group from the pawn shop for 250.00 about 10 times what I usually spend. I was planning on selling the parts on evil bay to finance my summer bike habits. It is so shiny though, but amazingly enough doesn't have the "that looks like it will last" look to it. But that 10speed rear hub is smooth.
It's in pieces now and seems to be telling me to hang it on the A-D Olympian I have just lying there in my size too.
Does anyone know anything about ALum GT road frames? Triple triangle 7000 series AL frame with what looks to be 2002 to 2003 campy group. The frame is unpainted with only GT stickers. There are remains of the model on the top tube but too worn off to read. Stickers are blue.

Yet another flea market find. Put air in the tires and rode it around the yard, great condition. I'll give it a clean and relube, and adjust the cables, and out the door it goes. Or maybe I'll sell the Bridgestone instead. He started at $50, but I got it for $40.,,,,BD

Out a a big garage sale/flea market on the weekend. Found a Thapex pump buried in a toolbox (exactly like the one on this bike: https://www.bikecult.com/works/archiv...dawesRTML.html ) for 6$ Canadian. Seemed like a good deal, so I picked it up for my Macleans project.

Neat ebay drop off store catch, 1972 Puch Royal X. This is my first butted 531 bike, now I understand the acclaim, bike rides great. Kind of an interesting group on it, the frame has a '72' stamped on it, and it has early dura-ace everything, except oddly suntour stem shifters. I hope to find some first gen. dura-ace bar end shifters. Well here's a couple pics off my flickr....

I passed on a P.O.S. Schwinn Sprint with a bent frame, steel wheels and complete junk parts. The only reason I looked twice was due to the pedals. It had very nice Suntour Superbe pedals!!! The bike was $15. I'm wondering if I should go back and spend the $15, pull the pedals, and drop off the hulk at the metal recycler on my way home.
