Being short has never bothered me so much...

I am really anxious to build up a new bike, but I want a NEW frame. I ride a 44-46cm and there are no track frames my size from any company.

Can anyone think of one that I might have missed? I guess I will have to build another conversion..

Fuji makes a 43cm fuji track, which uses 650c wheels/tires. Ask Turd, she rides one...

The fuji might be a tad small, and from what I had seen only came as a completed bike - and the goal I had really was to build from the bottom up instead of replace. NYCbikes has got a 47 frame - but it looks cheaply made - and forum members say alot of bad things about them.

i can't imagine you'll be able to find very track-like geometry in a size that small without bringing the wheel size down as well.

Get walker to build you a frame. Maybe he'll give you a shorty discount since he won't have to use as much steel

I have all the parts picked out in my head - so I am looking for a cheap old road bike to spray paint right now, and then will slowly build it up, and then in 2 years I will have a frame built for my masterpiece. He even already has a name....

I was under the impression that they are the same as IRO frames, just stickered differently.

This is not quite right but it has horizontal drops and it is in that size. You could build up a 26" tire using their fixed hub too. Track geometry, no, but i think a nice bike could be built from it.

IRO doesnt have smaller than 50 though. Maybe NYCbikes is listing 47 as the c-c, but not the bike size, so the standover height would still be too tall for me. Who would know since they dont list specifcations on their website

NYCBikes was reselling IRO frames without Tony's permission a while ago, but he put a stop to that. Havoonian also has a stock 47cm/700c frame. oh, and the 50cm IRO actually is 46cm c-c: https://www.irocycle.com/fixedgearand...inc/id110.html

Well. Harris Cyclery sells a 49cm fuji track frame, fork, seatpost, and headset for $300.

49 is unfortunetly too big. The iro would be perfect since the c-c is 46, but since its track geometry, the standover height is too tall.

I think I am faced with the fact that track geometry wont fit me unless I drop to 650 cc, but I dont want to do that since I want my wheelset to be compatible with my current bike. Too bad I cant find a new road frame with horizontle dropouts or track fork ends.

Looks like the only way I am getting a brand spankin new frame is to have one made for me. I am really into some of the work circleAcycles has done!

you can always look on velodrome sites and try to buy a frame from a junior racer.

Why avoid 650c's? Better acceleration!
