$64.99 at Universal Cycles, which is same as MSRP at Banjo Bothers website. Maybe prices have gone up ?

for those thinking about gettin a chrome bag:
the seat buckle feature serves no practical purpose in the real world. it's far easier to slack the belt, then lift over your head or swing around to the front. reconnecting it while it's slung over your shoulder is a pita, especially if you're carrying weight. if you can't hold out, and you must drop your load immediately, then the button serves a purpose. hit it and hope nothing breaks.
however, the buckle does make it easier for the EMT.
+1 for bailey works. the only other bag i'd recommend.

In my messenger days, my buddy Brent had a Chrome bag. On more than one occasion, I rode up next to him, and pushed the seatbelt button. ......hehe

I've done two metric centuries while carrying a bag.
Provided it isn't loaded up with a ton of ****, anything under 35 miles or so isn't bad. Then it starts hurting
I personally like the buckle and wouldn't trade my chrome bag for anything. ...we'll maybe one of those huge burro bags you can put an adult inside of

I use a Timbuk2 medium TSA bag and love it. Got it for $45 on sale. I have a 6-8 mile commute and I do not use a cross strap. I think the quality is awesome and it is very well designed with a biker in mind. Lots of cool pockets.

I've been using a Chrome bag for well over a year now. Good quality, does what it has to do. Its my one and only messenger bag, so I really have nothing to compare it to.
Excellent posts so far.
