i just bought the crumpler fux deluxe like two days ago with the bunion camera stuff insert and i love it. the bags plenty huge for all my camera crap and other stuff and it sits on my back perfect when im riding through the city like a crazy person. it stays right where its supposed ta so i dont have to think about it and that cool clip on the strap makes for easy loosening of the strap to swing the bag around and grab the gear. its way better designed than any "proper camera bag" that ive ever seen.

i won me a little crumpler bag in this weekend's race, and i can't stand the plastic strap adjust thingey. never again will i pay for a bag with one (timbuk2's have 'em too). No one-hand-adjust D-ring, no peace.

they're a bit heavy, but their padded, and waterproof.

Is the fux deluxe larger then the Seed3? After 3 days of using it I really like it so far,I ordered the weenie from a camera shop (froogled) and it hasn't gotten here yet. My wife is a true biker chick and would never carry a "purse" so were hoping that it is a good bit smaller than the seedy3--JJ

i won the weenie, i think, and it's small. very small. bigger than your average purse, tho'. i would say it could only hold about a 12-can case of beer.

From what I hear, they also have a small secret compartment where you can store pies, batteries and Anne Frank.

soon we begin talking about pie-stash-pockets

Chrome bags rule!. From a San Francisco bicycle messenger. Many pockets, colors, and sizes. What I really like is the seat buckkle strap. And the stash pocket is sweet.

As soon as the sun comes out, I'll post pics of my new under the weather bag
http://www.under-the-weather.ca/bags1.html that Sam built me. Easily the best bag I've used. They made me up an external pump bag and intergrated a seatbelt buckle I had in as a quick release for a nominal extra charge...

Mr. Houston, my comment about breathability was in response to msngr's post that breathability is more important than waterproofness in a messenger bag, whatever that means.

I knew you were joshin, but it reminded me of the explanation I've had to write to more than a few :D
we get all kinds of odd requests but often some really cool ones, like the chainmail thing, that was no joke, soon as the chainmail part is done we'll get to see if we can attach it well enough to last as long as the bag
