First ride on SS Colnago.
I finished it up Sunday night, and took it out for a short ride (3.28 miles) tonight after work. I'd forgotten how sweet that frame is. It handled beautifully and was very responsive.
The conversion ended up only costing me $34.03 (including tax). I had to buy three 15g spokes, 4' of brake cable housing, a brake cable, and an 18T ACS Claws FW. I used the 42T chainring on the Nuevo Record cranks. I ended up cutting the Drop-Ins down to standard drops. They're a little shorter than standard drops, but I don't spend a whole lot of time in the drops, so it's no big deal. I found some old red Granite tape from years ago that I was able to reuse. Everything else cleaned up nicely. I'll post pictures soon.
