Yes I do. The good news is that just about any of these will go with chrome:

Thanks for this. Sent them an email today.

Just a quick mock-up to see how the components will look on my new (used) frame. Just need a seatpost and an Italian bottom bracket.

Probably look for a black seatpost. The bike has slightly darker red...like a lighter wine color.

Thanks for the links -- two great looking chrome builds, and those Wabis and M106 bars look great on both. Great to see a modern compact shape with such a classic look.

The gold looks rad here! If you want a gold seatpost, a Miche Supertype will match your bars & stem.

Thanks. I was surprised too.
Found out the post is a 26.4 lol
Stopped by local LBS and they had one in the size.... $20 Thomson copy. I just wanted something now to get riding on it.

Ripped my Benotto bar tape so threw on some grips I had on a riser....it's getting wrapped with Fizik pseudo suede tape tonight. Chain will be upgraded soon too.
Yes slack chain, still doing work on it.

new Wabi Classic...just added the cambium c13 seat, thomson post, air wing, wider tires for gravel, and some sram levers (on sale.. think they're overpriced otherwise)

This is my new favorite bike on the thread. Reminds me of a Rolls-Royce Corniche

The Aston Martin is a high performance sports car, while that JP Weigle is pure luxury with the top down.

Thanks for the kind words, I can dig the Rolls. The Aston Martin has the matching top though, haha, plus, this fixed gear moves, its pretty sporty!

^^At first glance it looks like the paint on the fork is scuffed. For some reason I think that every time I see this bike.

Then I remember that it is the subtle SCHWINN logo.

That Madison has a bad leak in the bottom bracket.

Air conditioner condensation. No worries.

Regulatori 03-04-16 03:26 PM

haha at the leak comment.
That Madison is sexy. Is that Benotto bar tape? It's the best looking bar tape but wish it has just a little bit of cushion/better durability. If it's not, tell me what it is because I want it.

It looks like Fizik superlight. I could be wrong. Benotto looks like a gift ribbon

I got rid of the nasty rough cloth tape and wrapped my bars with Brooks leather to match the saddle. I also installed the Disco Pimp Glitter Grips for the full '70s effect. They look like crappy hard plastic, but they are actually really nice dense, soft Kraton rubber, and have a wonderfully tacky surface, like when your favorite bat had the perfect amount of pine tar.

Wheelie mayhem ensues.....
