Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yes it has a Coaster Brake .
Yes it has Suspension Forks .
Yes it has old school 27 inch wheels ( not the new fangled 27.5 , but 27 x 1 1/4 ) just like grandpa had .
Yes it has super wide riser bars .
Yes it wheelstands beautifully .
Yes it does huge long rear wheel Coaster Brake skids , just like my first bike did when I was 6 years old .
Yes it was made on a minimal budget .
Yes it doesnt conform to current fashion
Yes it is my new bike .
Yes it is super fun to ride .

Fashion can go directly to hell. Riding your bike will put a gigantic smile on your face. That's what it's about man.

Coaster wheelies all day long FTW.

I can ride now.

It's been five months (two days ago) since I destroyed my heel, and I am walking about 90% normally. I limp, but I can spend a LONG time on it and it only gets a little sore. The Docs say I'm about 7-12 months ahead of schedule, and better than most folks after they fully rehab. I'm shooting for a full 100% recovery, which I was TOLD could NEVER happen. F'ck them. I did my own therapy too cuz I don't trust the quacks.

Frankly though, I am relieved as hell. I really believed I was hosed, like they told me.

What's wrong with my forks**********

dude thats awesome, i feel like a lot of times the whole recovery process is very mental. the people who get really jacked up and just dont even accept the fact that they wouldnt be 100% again seem to have a great recovery

Awesome!

I love bikes that are personal to the owners versus following the sheep. Ride the wheels off of it!

That is great news!

The quacks, after one of my worst injuries, told me my knee would never bend past 90 degrees again. They were wrong. So, keep up the good work!

The forks are forged solid blades. LOL. SLENDER as as hell, but weigh as much as your whole bike. :-)

It is Fizik microtex - of all the tapes I've tried over the years, I keep coming back to it. This is metallic blue.

The frameset and just about 3/4 of the bike were purchased from Retrogression over the last several months. I was in a financial position to buy the frameset a couple of weeks ago, so I was finally able to build it.

The seventh revolution of your tape is off by about 1/32 of an inch. Other than that, I guess it isn't a total piece of crap.

girlfriends bike! finally got around to taking some pictures of her new (to her) bday frame I got her back in december. need to cut the steerer tube, but other than that she digs it. seat angle looks a little JA, but it's not that bad in real life and she digs it so that's all that matters.

that last one is just for all the ball haters Plus i ****ing love this gosh darn bike and don't think any pictures exist of it with drops, which is probably what i roll with 40-50% of the time. Today we are featuring some NOS 80's Cinelli Color splash tape that i found cheap on ebay a while back. Love the color and it really makes my new CK Gripnut pop, but holy heck it is thin.

p.s. pictures with the balls will continue until they are stolen. luckily for all the haters i live in Oakland, so it'll happen one of these days

Repost from the Steamroller thread but I have yet to get it dirty due to life obligations, yes I know, saddle is pointed upwards. It was built from parts that were laying around so it doesn't match either.
