Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, uhm, about that... it's bandwagon-hopping, train-jumping posers like you that have destroyed blogging culture with your cheap, ugly, mass-produced pages that give no respect to real bloggers. Why back in my day, you had to markup your pages by hand and upload them to your own server, or write your own apps to automate the task. We spent hours combing through perl docs to find just the right regex to handle our particular styles of punctuation, and the finished product was a thing of beauty. But you kids today just trying to be cool have no appreciation of that. Oh, sure, it has a certain allure, this writing, but blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

8 pages now! wow! What's it about now? Is it still about the blogger guy? I've only read the parts yall quoted. I presume Joker is the blogger....bah, it's not as funny as it was at page 6.

Except that dude eaing the Burger, I bookmmarked that! And who is that fellow in the glasses?

Hey glowingrod the CMWC in philly was 2000...I remember cause my bike was stolen 2 weeks prior, I had to stay home and work to pay off a new one. Cool company I worked for fronted a $1000 to the bike store towards my replacement ride so I felt obliged to pay it off quick.

So was this originally about.....what?
