Nice. What brake levers are you using? This is one of 3 IM's that I have, the others are stock -- and the worst condition of the 3. So i'm thinking it would be fun to do a funky city bike/commuter bike. Being in Denver, I am leaning towards a 650b convo but swapping out bars would be much less $$..

psst, i probably haz wheels :innocent:

So… I am using two mismatched bmx levers I think? And they take different types of brake lines so now they are mounted upside down due to some previous mistakes… for all that they seem to work okay for the most part.

My arthritis has been giving me grief lately, so I've been riding this:

27.5+? I have been considering that for my Honzo.

yessir, highly recommend both the rims (dt swiss xm551) and the tires (wtb trail boss 3.0)

easiest rims ive ever built wheels with, didnt need any serious attention to bring them true, basically just laced them and brought them all to tension. tires are FAST and corner like a mother****er, i can lean it over hard like a dirtbike. they measure ~2.9 on these rims after 2 days, prob will relax to a full 3.0 soon

how do you like your honzo? i might be getting a Ti one this summer

It's pretty dope. Not the best climber, but a really fun ride, and the 2015 complete was a solid deal. Hydro Deore, Revelation fork, narrow/wide, tubeless-ready WTB rims with Ardents, short chainstays for maximum shreddage, all under $2k. Definitely want to add a dropper post at some point in the future, but it was definitely ready to ride out of the box. A real shame they discontinued the steel complete. One of my buddies ordered a steel frame like six months ago and is still waiting - apparently Kona had no idea what the demand was like.

I am a fairly novice MTB rider, but it has been awesome. I can pretty much point and shoot and ride up or down anything I want, assuming I have the legs to pedal through it.

This 27.5+ Ti Honzo has been haunting my dreams since I saw it.

yeah thats close to what im thinking, but chicarb 29er rims and ss, with the option for gears and or B+

the trail boss tires are truly awesome, inspire such confidence. that bike ^ would absolutely destroy

I love me some 650b, but I don't think the Ironman would be a great candidate. That fork is pretty narrow, limiting your tire choices and thus the 650b benefit. Love mine, though.

Just picked this guy up. Been riding fixed for 10+ years, and this is my first road bike. Still haven't given her a proper ride (don't own clipless shoes yet), but my friends have been hassling me to come climbing in mountains with them. Don't really want to try that on a fixed.

Woah nice aero comp, definitely don't see those everyday. All you need now is its aero track cousin.

Yeah I saw it on Cragistlislt, full Shimano 600 and it's on great shape for only $250. Couldn't pass it up.
And yeah, I'd LOVE the Aero Track. Either the curved seat tube, or the pursuit version.

I picked this Basso Ascot up about two weeks ago. I think it's about a 90' model, not sure yet. Full Campagnolo Chorus group in Choral finish, Columbus MS tubing.
