Slightly blurry still, but I desaturated the chain to see what a silver chain would look like

We're twinsies now when it comes to stem and seatpost. Just installed the post today, tomorrow will be the inaugural ride.
What color chain do you have on it now? I'd totally go gold over silver.

How are those Thomson bars? I assume they are the KFC cross model. Not heard tons of reviews, but they look super nice.

yeah, 44cm kfc. they are nice, expensive and light, but more importantly they match my seatpost and stem.
i am never in the drops on my cross bike so i thought about going with a shallow drop bar, but that would look dumb because of how big my bike is. these are a nice middle ground.

Do you just take foothill expressway from LA to PA? I used to live right next to Stanford and I miss riding around on them roads.. Foothill College?
38 ring in the front, 36t largest cog. It's a mega ultra bail out gear. With the rack, the bike weighs like 27 lbs, and I go to school on a hill, and live at the top of a 19% grade, so that cog sees some occasional use.

I love climbing in the hills out there because there's so much variety and most of it is shaded and super pretty, unlike San Jose.

Sweet! Highly recommend doing the Alpine Rd loop but opting to bike out to Canada Rd and back.. Not a crazy hard ride, but purty roads especially when going through Woodside
Yee. Ride like 8.3 miles to Dirdon station and take caltrain to PA. Get off work and ride to Foothill, ride to Mountain View caltrain station after school and then bike home from Dirdon.

I have gold on now, but I haven't been digging it for the last couple months.
