Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: Tanglefoot Hardtack, Riv Sam Hillborne, a Purple Waterford

My *almost* finished Pinarello.
Finish List-
Replace Black Colnago Pantographed stem with a silver 3ttt
Replace silly Suntour FD with Campagnolo Victory to match group.
TRP Brake levers
Different Brooks saddle (still undecided which way to go here)

Thanks!
What would you suggest? I like the ergonomics of modern levers for the leverage when squeezing the brakes and hand positioning. I thought the drillium levers of the TRP lent a vintage tone to them.

Bikes: officially too many now...

Shimano BL-R400 look more like the early aero levers and are also cheap. A few seconds on a buffing wheel will take the SHIMANO right off:

Bikes: Foundry Chilkoot Ti W/Ultegra Di2, Salsa Timberjack Ti, Cinelli Mash Work RandoCross Fun Time Machine, 1x9 XT Parts Hybrid, Co-Motion Cascadia, Specialized Langster, Phil Wood Apple VeloXS Frame (w/DA 7400), R+M Supercharger2 Rohloff, Habanero Ti 26

Non-Aero levers and Benotto tape is the jamz. I would certainly fix the stem but only because of the color (I love Colnago) maybe you can find an old Pina panto 3TTT stem. I would also try to get a Crampandgoslo Biodinamica bottle and cage.

I will admit that I love the feeling of plain cloth tape nothing on it and it looks nice with a good harlequin wrap so that is a good option and always gets looks from fellow bicycle lovers. That is of course if you didn't go Benotto

Bikes: 34 frames + 82 wheels

This new bike from All-City has me interested, because the smaller sizes come with 650b wheels:
