Looking for a basic/cheap 2nd bike

Hi,

I am thinking about a second bike and would like to keep it in the office , for random /lunch/after work rides. I have my main bike that I use on weekends etc, and started thinking about getting something like this - Vice 2.0 Bicycle : Fixie & Fixed Gear Bikes | State Bicycle Co.

Or maybe this - https://www.wiggle.com/quella-varsity...-cambridge-20/ ?

Would this be a good singlespeed bike? I can't tell what size the chainring and rear sprocket is, are there options?

Any recommendations for ready to go/off the shelf cheap singlespeed bikes under $400 if at all possible ? Doesn't have to come with saddle/tires/handlebars to keep the cost down as I'll supply my own.

Thanks much!

Nagrom - haha, sure will post it tomorrow .

Any thoughts on Aventon Mataro? Is the seatpost issue an old issue or still going on? It looks like the frame with fork can be purchased new for under $250 shipped.

Here it is when it was road legal / daily/fun weekend car. It looks mostly the same, but on different wheels and dot R tires for scca autocross.

Found one in the "autocross" trim -

So, I am seriously looking into getting the Aventon Cordoba frame alone and building it up. Is it worth it, they are going for $150 now shipped!

My current Fuji is size 52, and the only option I have with the Cordoba is a 49 or 58. I am thinking obviously a 49 but I can't find any geometry specs of the frame. Top tube length?

I do like that it's got a provision for rear brake so that's good.

The frames are fine, if you're buying a complete, kilo TT really is the way to go. ( source: bought mataro, spent an extra $500 getting it to where a kilo tt is )
They have fixed the seatpost and finally admitied the fork snapping issue is their fault and have since changed its design as well.
