Which 48t chainring?

Looking to bump my tooth count up on my chainring. Currently have a 46t Sugino Zen w/ a 16t cog in the rear. Wanting a 48t... Any suggestions?

Sugino Zen chainrings are good and come in 48T if you don't mind spending the money.

2t on the front is a very small change. About 1mph in crusing speed.

What size rear tire do you have? Just get a bigger rear tire it'll be approximately 2 gear inches under the 48

True, but I find myself spinning out at times at about 26mph... maybe I'll grab a smaller rear cog.. cheaper too

If you do mind but dont mind less than a handful of grams saved, you can always opt for an FSA track chainring.

They're more economical with a less finished painted finish and no weight-saving machining on the back side.

I just upgraded from my stock Omnium chainring to the FSA chainring. For $55, it's not that bad.
