Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Best Single Speed Wheels on a Budget

Hi,

I am new to all this, so speak to me as you would speak to a not very bright 5 year old

After rowing for many years on a semi professional level, I was struck by a injury. For many years I couldn't exercise, put on some weight and didn't practice any sport. Lucky enough, my doc gave me the go two months ago and I picked up cycling (~450km per month). After my first bike was stolen (praise safety in Milan, Italy), I made a lucky shot and bought a great bike (to be precise, the frame is heaven and ultra light, components like breaks and wheels seem to be garbage) out of the bankruptcy of a bike shop.

Step by step I want to replace the not so well components. As my knowledge of cycling is as deep as my knowledge of quantum physics, I need some advise:
I need a decent pair of budget single speed road wheels (no MTB, no fixed) as I learned to appreciate the joy of gearless riding. Please advise!

I have those wheels on my bike. They're pretty good. I like that after I peeled the sticker off they were just bare with no annoying logos. They aren't light though.
