when i'm filthy rich ...

i'm going to buy my own little piece of paradise and fly all the bikeforum-ers and -istas out to it, with bikes, and we will all ride around on the streets, since i will have erected a metropolis too, and reek havoc and then drink our chosen beverages since i will also be a distributor for all the best beers worldwide, and then we'll proceed to the velodrome for some action and if it's raining we'll go to the indoor velodrome and then we'll have a big bonfire for no reason and eat pie and we won't talk politics or about oil or about mcdonalds. and we'll take pictures of us in various compromised positions and then we'll make bets as to how many incestious bikeforum relationships will result. and then the world will be right and we'll be in heaven.

What about robots? Can we each have a robot? I would settle for one giant robot for everyone, though.

No way!
Next you'll be telling me that I have to share my beer too, grrrrrr!

Another thing though, your fantasy island will also need hammocks, because sleeping in hammocks is awesome.

Also, Hoegaarden, Alaska, Mendocino Brewing, El Toro, and Deschutes.

Oooh, I forgot, you need a few turntables and a nice Rane rotary mixer.

Bikes: 2 fixies, 1 road, 29er in the works.

I went to an Island once and met Rancid and Inkdwheels.

It was, in all honesty, one of the best weekends of my life.

I was sore, sweaty, smoked, drank, rode in traffic, all over hell, ate like a king and got a tshirt that says ASS.

This is the story :https://kokusai.blogspot.com/2005/01/...on-island.html

It kicked collective ass.

Anyway, on your island, there will be free flowing wine, large parking structures that we can play fixie tag and joust and no need to lock up bikes, right?

i don't want to jinx it. but anyone else who is filthy rich right now is more than welcome to jump on this idea.

ryan_c, stickerguy and i were talking about jousting last night. that is a definite must. hehehe i want to joust [165].

wine of course. i'd start a vineyard but i don't want to stretch myself too thin. better to rely on the masters for that anyway.

whoah i was totally going to say "tallbike jousts" after reading the initial post and then i got down to this. same wavelength, no?

we also need a large stock of crappy rear tires for our nightly skid competitions.

the large robot for all of us sounds good too, our defender ("we can call him birdhead" - can anyone place this quote without using google?)
