Looking for sub 1600g wheelset

I am looking for a single speed wheelset for my univega build. I have currently been using vuelta corsa lite wheelset which weighs in a little over 1500g but I would prefer a singlespeed specific wheelset with no machined brake surface.

I chose to ignore that requirement because it's silly.

I've pretty much given up on telling people what's good for them.

Silly or not, Mavic Ellipse fits the bill. Retro-Aggression even has them on sale.

OP wants 1600gm or lighter wheelset, Ellipse are almost 1900gm.

Yup - since from his own words we can see that OP is riding SS, not fixed, no brake tracks is indeed a very silly requirement...

Yes, I just looked it up. 1895 grams.

I thought they were lighter. For some reason the number 1530 was stuck in my head.

Thanks. My bad. Nevermind.
