Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

For some reasons headsets seem to work just fine why cant we do the same with BBs?

Anywho enjoy the bike.
Nice bike! Where did you get the frame?

Bikes: Wheeler custom fixed gear

I put tektro RL340s on my anchor today as recommended by bonsai 171 and the bike shop I bought them from. I need to get something better to hold the cable on the TT but other than that I love having the extra hand position and having brakes that actually stop. Sadly the LBS didn't have any tape in orange but this tape is way better than the cheap foam EVO tape that was on there before.

sorry for the cheap bike spam lol

Bikes: 1x10 Raleigh Tripper / random fixed townie

Back on risers. Drops were fun, but risers suit towning duties way more.

No idea what the frame is honestly. I picked it up completely stripped from a guy who got it cheap and stripped it with the intent of using it as a project bike and never got around to it, and they had no idea what it was.

Front rack is a Soma front pannier rack with a Wald 137 ziptied to it. Cheap and effective.
