Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

NJS Forum / Registry

Hey guys / gals,

My buddy is starting an NJS specific forum, and registry. Check it out!

"The idea is to create something similar to this Eddy Merckx Serial Numbers, in hopes of identifying and cataloging NJS frames (the best I can). A forum will be along side for discussions/classifieds/etc. It's just getting started, but feel free to join and get me stoked.

Anyone with NJS frames that could provide me with their basic frame info would be GREATLY appreciated so I can build the database.

I am not one for getting people stoked over used products from betting sports that people tend to overpay on. If someone tried to sell me a dented frame probably found in a dumpster for $800+, I would be pissed.

I like watching keirin though it is a fun thing to see but the whole riding NJS bikes on the street fad is never been anything that excites me.

I am rather confused here? What does not exploiting animals have to do with Japanese Keirin or dented NJS frames or anything being discussed?

Are you unhappy because I care about others that aren't human as well or are you unhappy that I am not a sucker who is willing to buy a dented frame because it was used for betting sports? Or is it a combination of both? Or was it maybe I am not into getting people stoked over dented frames? Or maybe it was because I said I enjoy watching Keirin?

If you are into dented bikes I can probably get you a sweet dented Thruster that some guy won in an ironic mustache growing competition outside of the American Apparel. Only $600. I would have charged more but the Death Cab for Cutie album playing in the background wasn't one as good as their older stuff.

Love ya!,
VB

There's guys out there who buy used Victoria's Secret panties from IG models. Do they register them too?

Still trying to figure out this whole NJS thing. The obsession with having NJS stuff, and questioning if it is or not....this is a thing?
