Anybody eat celeste pizzas? They're pretty crappy, but when they go on sale at stop & shop, the price is right (10 for $10).

Huh?
Do people say that a lot or did isotopesope just make that up?
Made me laugh.

I was ecstatic to see a Taiwainese made Bianchi hanging amongst the other dilapidated frames at Free Ride in PGH. Who in their right mind would turn down a free Bianchi frame?

No way! You can totally buy Dickies in that color, or at least you used to be able to. I think I had some.

It wouldn't compare to steel though, I love my steel frame.

The old Bianchi color is way better.
The new chome pistas could probably hide their crappy welds with colored paint, but I bet they were too embarassed themself's to paint em with their trademark.

Ohh and post numero uno, say hi to the N00B....or not.

Gosh, I like my Pista.
It holds the components together and keeps the wheels apart.

I'd like it with a Celeste triangle and chrome forks and stays.
Or, how about a black triangle with Celeste accents and chrome forks and stays?

If Bianchi wanted it really cool, they wouldn't put the word BIANCHI on it, anywhere.
They'd just have sufficient Celeste to make its presence unmistakable and the Eduardo Bianchi emblem on the head tube.

I have a Raleigh Technium that has a lot of chips in the black paint job. Thinking of painting it Celeste this winter. Any thoughts?

there are conflicting stories about how celeste became the signature paint of bianchi, but a seemingly plausible one is that they were able to get a large quantity of (military, i think) surplus paint on the ultracheap. it happened to be "celeste." it's a god-awful color in any case.

I have a deep purple Volpe and a chrome Pista (now for sale). Does this mean I have to turn in my decoder ring and report to room 101 for "reeducation?" Actually, I agree. I really long for a celeste Bianchi to return to the roots.

You can paint any bike Celeste, as long as it's a Bianchi!
