Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That's why they weren't poll options. If you could list every possible bike that could be converted you'd have, what, 1000 different makers?

Bikes: crappy fake bike

Peugeot PX10 track... it has very simple lugs (sloppy even) and very simple fork crown, and is stiff as balls. It definitely has the "French mystique" to it. Light too, 16 lbs built up with aluminum bars/stem. I also have a Merician path/track frame, but it is not built up yet. What about Holdsworth, MKM, and The Flying Scot track bikes? Anyone else got any of these? How about Harry Quinn? I used to have a Harry Quinn but sold it because it wasn't my size. It had pretty awesome nervex lugs.

Just thought you'd want to know - I would.

BTW---Your profile lists the Battaglin as a TT.

Bikes: A couple customs and some beaters.

The creator of the poll should have gone with regions and frame types (Keiran, Italian, pursuit, TT, etc) rather than brand names. There are far too many to create an adequate poll.
