Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Mid-60s Swiss (probably Sieber) track frame, 70s Sekai road conversion in the process of being put back together for fixed winter/cross use, and a 94 Kona Cinder Cone mountain bike that's been converted to SS for playing in the dirt.

A steel, lugged JCPenney frame form the 80's. Made in Japan, but brand unknown. Had high quality components.

My vote was for "other", not for the poll being bad.

1982 (or 83?) trek. This poll sux only cuz Trek was not included in the choices. A sweet ride and I love it.

1) A Norco (go Canada!) Tri frame conversion... stripped and sprayed powder blue.
2) A custom (for someone else) track frame that was cracked in half when I got it; now welded back together with half-assed (and already chipped to heck) red spray can finish. The best part is the recently-added custom-but-not-for-me (and from a different frame altogether) track fork that is deep purple. It looks hilariously terrible and has well over 1" of toeverlap.
