so, avast ye, what the hell are we doing tomorrow night?
6pm meetup?
at a bar somewhere?
tink, whatcha thinking?

also- on an unrelated note-
if any pirates (or non-pirates) want to work a checkpoint for the elvis race on july 30, please let me know. naturally, there will be alcohol involved. act now and you can help decide how to torture the racers at your checkpoint. (shots? riding stairs? pushups? arm wrestling?)

I was going to race on the 30th, but if you end up short on checkpoint people, I'd be willing to help out.

To all my DC bicycle brothers and sisters.

Any and every rider interested in post workday revelry,
Come join us in our boisterous merrymaking today in Adam's Morgan.

We will start this evening's activities at the Toledo Lounge where we shall enjoy good food and cheep beer. Arrive no later than 6:30pm! THE FIRST ROUND IS ON ME!!!!!!! yes thats right.

Having had our fill, let us ride.
Let us twist and thread our way through the traffic - championing our pirate ways!
Then arriving at the proving grounds, let us match strength and vie for glory in the battles of yore.

May the vile brew slake my thirst
And never cause me harm.
I ride with the protection of the seven seas
and the support of my pirate brethren!!

yarrr

I'd really like to meet some of you guys; I don't really know anyone around here who rides. Unfortunately, I am off to the beach just as soon as I am showered after work this afternoon and it looks like I may not be able to make it to CM in August because I have to go to some stupid wedding. (The wedding isn't until Saturday, but they're making us go to some rehearsal crap way up in bum****, Maryland.) PM me if you guys are planning rides next weekend or something.
