Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Technically the paint will be Mercedes Benz 2003 Tectite. In English, dark gray metallic. The section around the Vanilla logo will be filled in with black.

Btw, look closely at the rear drop out photo, you'll see a raised ridge on the chainstay. That is an extended tip that will be fully polished like the lugs. It also goes up the backside of the seatstay. When done, the fork drop out will also go up the fork leg.

Btw2, my seatpost was done awhile ago and shown on another bike at the Handmade Bicycle Show. Here's a link to my seatpost: https://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/wbaroc...70.jpg&.src=ph

Ohh yeah. I remember that seatpost. Grey and black sounds awesome. Post more pics when it's done.

Will post 'em when I get 'em. Current revised schedule is (hopefully) mid October. (Contrary to MoondogSparky's bike, mine was wedged into the regular production schedule. Being worked on during weekends and days off. Subsequently there really was no fixed delivery date.)
