Yup, I'm going mtb fixed/free for winter.
Not that we have all that much snow. But the summer/winter ride was a good excuse for a new bike.
Fixed for the winter/free for the mtb. Still working on the gear ratio: 34/16? 34/15? 38/16?

my only lament is the lack of studded tires in the 27" size. miraculously i never ended up on my aß, but a man only gets so many miracles, and then he ends up on his aß. oh and for now i will stick with 44:17, but i know the going gets tough in semi-packed snow.
oh, looking forward to it all...

Well there are these on cyclocrossworld.com sadly without picture.

I'd suggest checking at your LBS and asking about them, I'm sure there's some distributor's who sell these.
