I havn't made the full conversion... yet, my LeTour is derailer less, but it still has the gears (ballast?) and it's not up for a long ride.

Bikes: Raleigh conversion (hours spent making it look like a Pista); Porter Track, Samson Track, Leto Roadie.
Joe- Critical Mass, velodrome, Monday night drinking? I'm tired just thinking about it.
I hate to say it, but I don't think I'll make this one...too much fun lately, not enough grocery shopping/laundry getting done. I think these Wicker Park rides are destined to devolve (progress?) into way better of a time than will allow me to get to work anywhere close to on time (thanks for rubbing it in, freelancers/working-from-home types).
I hope you guys have so much fun that you do it again on, say, Thursday...

i can live without them. it is monday after all. chicagodream's got me feeling all responsible.
we could stop at the handlebar or something at the end, as an option.

i was a messenger for two years back in minneapolis.
it sucks here in chicago and i want to have fun riding my bike. the worst thing about the messenger industry is that you get paid and treated like ****. then you kind of get burnt out. i never thought it would happen to me, but when i started doing lots of races and get my ass kicked consistently because i dont train(because i ride to much at work) i new it was time to give it up...so i think i am going to be a waiter.
boing!

You should be sorry you missed it! We all rode North to the hopleaf and then drunkenly challenged each other to races all the way down the lakeshore bike path.
