These are old pics of my Kalavinka. It's all 7600 DA & nitto stuff. I've given up on the Arayas, as they flat-spot too easily. And now it has an Izumi Gold chain. Other than that it's the same.

some minor changes for the track, but nothing of large consequence.
Stem swapped for flat one.
38cm bars swapped for 36cm.
Saddle swapped out.

Nice! The paint looks like it worked out. And you know I love yellow-striped tires. I got flamed once for coordinating tires with paint accents, but it looks hot.

thanks! yeah, nobody has flamed me yet. maybe it's because i'm a girl.

you can sort of see in that second photo if you look really closely... they filled in a top tube dent and did a great job at it.

keirin gear is like collecting horse racing gear, you can get games that help you pick who your betting on, or phone cards with the riders and there stats, the poster art is cool for sure, but the culture needs a face lift. they need to take it to the streets for the next generations. real street races with fast ass real lean keirin racers. like 2 mile laps in downtown tokyo!

Almost all 3rensho looks good with those yellow rubinos. I have them on mine too. The yellow accents just go perfect with them, even close to the same shade too. I don't think I'd rock the yellow grips though. I was thinking about it but I think it'll be too over the top.

How's the market for 110mm rear hubs these days? Think I'm going to need that for my vintage Kalavinka frame coming soon.

Just get a new axle. I think Ceya says he's getting some. And somebody else just posted yesterday about having an extra one. Shouldn't be too hard.

EDIT: Here's the post: https://www.bikeforums.net/singlespeed-fixed-gear/148381-axle-sets-110-keirin-hubs.html

Thanks! I'll investigate. Must be a little cheaper than buying a hard to get hubset.
