....there have been some really nice bikes up lately. There was an awesome pink Reminton road-fixed (cable routing) and another track Reminton in red that just went. For full-builds they were cheeeeep :)

i ride kashimax daily too...no problem really, but the 8P padded one is best for daily. Not much padding, but enough.

That purple bridgestone would be ::swoon:: hot with white rims/saddle/grips.

i really need to work on getting accustomed to the drops, as i really like them on this frame, and think they are appropriate for the build... im just so used to risers on my daily driver that anything else feels weird.

actually... your right, it was being sold on eBay... I didn't bid close to the reserve price... the winning bidder didn't come through and I was one of the higher bids on the list... I ended up picking up the bike for less than half the price you mentioned... I figured it was a steal, no?

Ooh! Those Sansin hubs are rare even in Japan now. Have not been made for a while. After Sansin, Superbe Pro, Campa NJS hubs were all gone, only Suzue and Dura Ace remained. Now Suzue have closed down too!!!
Dura Ace is the only NJS hub manufacturer now.....
