Its a road frame i think, the guy who ownes it said he was building it up as a fixed gear but it is basically the frame and the fork. Road and mtb? What does that mean?

I got a Raleigh Technium frame for free once about eight years ago. This was before I knew anything about fixed gear conversions, so it just sat in my room for months. I ended up giving it away to some used bike shop in Seattle. Had I only known the potential!

The Techniums were/are nice frames.
This guy converted one to fixed gear: click here
The rear dropout are horizontal so you can use them for fixed gear because they allow the axle to move and take up chain slack.
A classy frame that's convertible. Just don't pay a lot.

I think it was Raleigh's first attempt at Aluminum bikes. Not on the level of early cannondales. $75 IMO is not a good price. Ask for $40.
I won't even get it if I didn't have all the component already. I've been building old bikes up from frame and fork and I have to say it's NOT cheap! You'll put in $150-250 easy on a build for a frame and is only so-so.
