hey, you can insert any adjective you want. lots of "crap" is considered "hip," so sometimes it's the dullest, oldest, most holes, most vintage...

i'm just playin'; no need to take me seriously.

How many one speed bikes in how many cities are necessary?

I'm so moving to CO Springs and moving in next to isotopesope instead of finishing my bike projects. Looks like y'all ride the same size bike too. How convenient, neighbour!

my track bike doesn't do too well through rock gardens. my trials bike isn't too great at commuting, especially since it doesn't have a seat and has a near one to one ratio. my road bike doesn't do too well in the mud or snow. the bell on my chopper goes ding dong.

I dunno man... I could simplify by just using sporks too, but I really like how well my different silverware works. Especially my grapefruit spoons.

1 Comfort

laurenisfixed 12-20-05 04:26 PM

I have about 20 in the garage... mostly cruisers that I'm building up for friends, a folding bike, a trike, two fixies, a single speed and some road bikes.

powerjb 12-20-05 04:33 PM

lets see...

2 fixed
1 road
1 mtn
1 bmx
____
5

that's not too many. There's another 3-4 frames sitting around in the garage waiting to be either 1) built up or 2) stripped of paint and taken apart for frame building practice.

1 track frame coming, once the brazing skills are up to par.

i've been there.

"novice ascetic luddism": that's a good one. i've gone through some misanthropic periods in my life, but in the last few years have made addressing, in some way, racism, sexism, and heterosexism a priority. basically, people have become a priority. not sure how that relates.

That makes fourteen bikes for me. Of those, six are fixie conversions and the Van Dessel is currently
running single-speed with a flip/flop fixie option. I have another project bike or two sitting around as well.
My house has bicycle related items in nearly every room.
