Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i'll knock back a few tonight for all the cool kids on this forum, besides a few just to, um...get drunk.

i believe in drunken holidays. anyone who doesn't have access to excessive amounts of booze can count on me to drink their share, too. you see, my holidays can be summed up by this photo:

not so much me, at least when i'm around my family (envying serendipper right now). but tonight, my sister and an old bandmate are thinking about getting together...and from there on out it's a mass of drunkenness, i'm sure. there also used to be a bunch of anarcho-punk kids here in boise, the landlocked pirates, who i guess had a pirate shot glass. does anyone in d.c. have one? this may be essential for you guys to acquire....

and flippin sweet: good work. drain all the alcohol reserves you have access to! by the way, how's the portland weather right now? since i'll be there in a couple of days, i want to know which jacket to pack.

The horrible ice storm has fully blown over. The temp's are fairly mild and only a little rain. It's nice. I don't want to go back to the frozen north.

Yay! I hated to think you might have to leave one behind. And chimbly, that collection is making me green with envy. Even though I, too, am way behind. I'd better get crackin'...

Now I've quit smoking, not that into drinking anymore, but I love to eat the animals. the cuter the better. Everybody's got to have some sins. That's what I tell myself anyway
