Favorite Sandwich
As we all know fixed gear riding requires an exorbanant amount of energy and what better way to fuel up quickly than a good old sandwich....So what are your favorites? I enjoy a heaping montreal style smoked meat on rye bread, possibly with eggs and cheese if its in the morning, or peanut butter and bacon, dont knock it till you try it.

I love grilled chicken breast sandwiches pretty much with anything.
But with pepper jack, tomato and guacamole on a good bun is my all time favorite. That ***** is amazing. And now I really want one. Off to the store. |

My favourite sandwich shop does a fine creation known as the Firewalker Chili Delux -
Chicken breast, Chili oil, chilis, red onion, mature cheddar, and bacon on a toasted bagle. Mmmm.... |
A good reuben on dark rye. Like the one from The Sandwich Company by the airport (in Albuquerque)
|
theres a place here in savannah called gelat-ohhh! They have the best veggie sandwiches.
My favorite is the Scarlatta: Spinach leaves, tomato, olives, roasted red pepper, feta and baby swiss cheese with balsamic vinegar and remoulade on herb ciabatta bread. |
lessee, a really good reuben
philly cheesesteak w/ real cheese and rare steak italian sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese...mmmmm been years since i had any of them though. |
theres a place in SF called herbivore that makes a grilled eggplant sandwhich that i could eat every day. Normally I go for roast beef w/ avocado tho. and anything dolface just listed. damnit. so hungry.
|
when I ate meat:
corned beaf, american cheese, mayo, jewish rye with seeds, damned good. as a vegeterian: either a sheetz veggie sub (no joke, best samich to come out of a gas station ever.), or hummus, pickles, lettuce, olive oil, dark rye bread, it's the jam. |

Rye bread.
Sharp cheddar cheese. Very strong onion. Spicy brown mustard. Ground horseradish. (the real stuff, not that crap with mayo added to it...) Occasionally I'll add some nice aged hard salami as well. |
