Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Thanks for the links, Sheldon. I still need my shants, dolface, DonWalker, chimbleysweep, pistaboy, etc.

With that said, BikeForums is the jam.

I'm pretty sure the only female I've ever impressed with a trackstand is my mom.

It's a pretty unimpressive looking thing, it's rather subtle. I mean you're not flipping about, you're not doing anything crazy, you're really just standing there.

Yes, this is the "no-brainer face plant". Congrats! I can only pull a "no-handed dumb-f**k", which involves a no-handed trackstand at a stoplight in front of a cop car, while drunk, and grinning like a mofo.

LOL I have done a similar thing, except it was a car full of pretty women.
I also think doing a "tranckstand" must involve barbituates, judging from the spelling. I think you invented a new fixie term. good job.
