Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

When google earth first came out some countries were complaining that it will people access to restricted airspace and let undesirables see top secret or secured sites. I don't know if google ever did censor it, but it'd be cool if they didn't and said f**k you to all those foreign countries.

they arent going to censor it. they didnt create the images, they are just collecting images that are public record, so they won't edit them to please the countries.

thats good to hear, but at the same time this goes towards the whole 'big brother' issue. If we can get our hands on such detailed maps, the gov can def get real time video on anyone anywhere.... kinda shady when you think about it... price of technology I guess.

On a more important note, google earth won't work with 10.3.9 which sucks. I use a mac at work and this thing is a pos. I use pc at home so no problems there If only I can afford a dual G5...

It runs a little slow on my 1.33 PB 12" with 1.25gig ram. But, if I really need speed, I'll just pop onto my Athlon 3200+ machine.

I really hate computers, rather the rapid development of computer technology, my computers are less than 2 years old and they are obsolete. I'm probably going to sell the PC and get either a new iMac (intel) or wait for an intel Mac Mini.
