Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Normally I would be upset by this advice but when I look at your avatar and your business, it gives me hope that the world can be good. WWDWD?

pistaboy is real, I hung out with him yesterday for about 2 hours at our lbs. I told him not to put a photo of his face on the internet, plus i don't think his mom would appreciate him doing that.

a tail drop is a basic skateboarding trick, but that specific line comes from the old school skate video Animal Chin. the video was also my source of inspiration for the crappy photoshop job i pulled on pistaboy's picture at 4:30 in the morning.

Whatever, I know pistaboy is real and that is all that counts. Plus you are just jealous because all you can do is talk about is he real or not, while I'm talking to him.

Um,

Pistaboy, since you live in S.Oregon, are you familiar with Jefferson State? It seceded from the Union in 1942. Does anyone still hold those sentiments?

well, we've joked enough about a pistaboy spoke card as the official one. that's the only one i've seen so far, and i do like the black and white contrast and all.

While I have my doubts that a 14 year old would be waxing nostalgic about a 20 year old skate movie and talking about starting to skate "again," I'm not going to stand in the way of anyone watching seriously rad movies. Try this.
