Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? what? How can you call us out without being able to throw down yourself? WTF?

That being said, my portfolio is several years old, and I won't show it to any of you until I update it.

That also being said, this might embarassingly be the impetus for me to finally update my portfolio. Job interviews? No. Grad School applications? No. Show off to Bikeforums nerds? Oh hell yeah! Shut me in my apartment for the rest of the week - studionumbernine is gettin overHAULED!

i'm not calling you out. i'm saying, show off your work. if you think your work isn't good, get over it and work harder. i'm not saying anyone is bad.

I only rarely do any graphic design. I do almost entirely photography, which can be seen here. Still, here's a couple random bits of design from the last couple of years...

mine's under all my posts. see "the day job." not as current as it should be, though...I have a few new entries.

i'm also a typesetter...and a recovering copyeditor...so the title of this thread makes my eyes hurt.

Dave - veda changed their name to vedera? I've had that song on heavy rotation since Fall. Nice to see the site's been redone.

Yah, there was some other band with the same name that came down on them with the strong arm of the law. They're awesome kids.

I'm still polishing things off on the site but it's still a world better than the last mess.

As do I. For every other kind of Flash I have nothing but loathing.

My site's non-existant at the moment but here's a couple images from a series I did a few years back. It was portraits in style of ultraviolet forensic photography. The first few times I made prints they were all B+W. The last one is something I tried more recently in colour.

I've got some paintings from when I used to care on this site... this thread is a good motivation for me to finish the professional portfolio section—though my work-work is rather commercial (translate-->boring), it still deserves some technical merit.

addendum—weedeater and eyefloater, nice schtuff.
