Bike Pics!
here are a couple of bike pics, as were requested a couple weeks back by other forum members. this bike isn't anything fancy, but i love it. the parts are nice, and i'll probably upgrade the frame, then get sew ups to create a track monster! for now, this is a good entry-level track bike, better than your average pista, with upgraded cranks and bottom bracket (sugino 75), deep-v's (take a lickin' and keep on tickin'), deda pista drop. i'm running 48x17 on it, which might be a few inches high for learning brakeless, what with skidding and skipping and all, but oh, well. anything else you guys need to know?

and just for the sake of vanity, have to get at least part of me in here (and i actually do like this shot)

i know, i'm putting it there, too...i just recall a couple specific people asking for pics (though, as i say, nothing too fancy here), so i put it where i knew they'd see it.

yeah, that sticker was alredy on there...i sort of want to take off the stickers and start over, also debating taking off the decals and painting the frame a different color. chrome's not me, but it does allow me to see the lights of cars behind me at night, so it's helpful.
it's a 58cm and i'm 6'2"...i've always ridden 58cm, i dunno if that's "right" or "wrong", but i like it. 130 mm stem, i'd have to measure. i like quill stems, and i've thought about replacing everything there...fork, headset, etc...but i'm going to get a new frame eventually, so i'll wait till then.

yea...chrome is tight....you should keep that frame, remove stickers/decals,and be fresh to def
and I was gonna say something about that stem, but to each their own...good to hear that you are down with the quill ish tho

yeah...i may try some bullhorns, but i do like those drops.
oh, velospace...maybe i'll put it up there. i want to spiff it up a bit before contacting the FGG, so i may wait on velospace, too.

talking of Puma has got me thinking.. What the hell happened with the Pumaville.com Cannondale contest? Was it a scam? The site is still up and they never posted a winner. Just a thought.
