Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: Crust Romanceur, VO Polyvalent, Surly Steamroller, others?

Seatposts are easy to get out if you don't mind destroying them.
First try using some ammonia to break up that * oxide. Then if the ol' twist 'n' pull doesn't work, flip the bike upside-down, put the top of the post in a vice, and use that frame for torque and just keep trying to twist until it breaks free. First concentrate on the twist, then on the pulling out.

5 dollars with the seatpost stuck, 20 without. That thing is a pile.

Bikes: Cocaine the white stallion, Custom Witcomb pista, (Being restored) 80's Pogliaghi Track, (destroyed) RAP Round Breeze NJS, Cannondale Jekyll 900, 84/5 Pinarello Montello (all italian)

Twist off its head and spike it onto the floor of a nightmare it can't even imagine! Dance with it in this six sided ring of fire.

Bikes: 1950s EG Bates track & 1960s Frejus track

Raleigh Technium with true wheels, new tires & tubes and an unstuck seatpost. $140.00- $200.00 depending on what groupo. it has.
-$20.00 if the seatpost just needs to be worked loose.
-$40.00 if its really bad.
-$20.00 if wheels need to be trued
-$60.00 if wheels are shot and need to be replaced.
-$30.00 if the bike needs new tires and tubes.
-$5-40 for small dents and dings and scratches.
-$10-60 if components are shot.

I might say sell it for 50 cents, but even that might be 45 cents overpriced.
