Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Useful link though.

I'm not arguing its not a good deal if you just want to do it once in a blue moon, but if you're exposing screens regularly its a bit steep. It's a good service, and I'm seriously considering setting up a "will expose your screens" business now, as I was planning on setting up a press anyway for myself. I use aluminum, too, got sick of the wood ones warping after a few months.

We're on the same page with all of this. Where are you located? That makes a difference in price as well. SF ain't cheap.

I'm in Marin at the moment, hope to be moving in to SF in march if everything goes as planned. I've been offered a garage for free to set stuff up, so that will save me some $.
