To conteract all the negative energy flying around the forum lately, I wanted to let you all know I plan on bringing gifts next weekend to nyc.

For example ... I have many, some may say too many, posters from my tenure promoting for the empty bottle. So I will be carrying a few of the latest beauties below with me to nyc. they're rather large 24 x 36 in. give or take. i'll bring a few (like 4). if you want one, entertain me with a good reason why and it's yours.

Also perhaps some pumpkin bread that hopefully won't get squashed on my way out there.

i'm pretty sure i've seen that at the rifle range. it's one of the novelty targets they offer, but it's been screenprintified and prettied up.

unfortunately no. That took a bit of planning, and we didn't get around to doing that this year. Plus, last year's planner is now a firefighter, so she's moderately out of the scene.

ooohhhhh, ooooohhhh, so the smack talkin begins!!! It's ON then...but I'm not bringing the C4. One of you pirates can lift it from my apt. Oh, bring sleeping bags, btw. Specifically, remind PnC to bring the sleeping bag that I left at his place at the LNFB. I think I've got plenty of blankets etc for you guys, but i haven't taken inventory yet.

OH, and FYI, there's a preparty for Monster Track on Friday night at Rockstar Bar in Williamsburg, if you haven't yet heard.

Alright: I've got one (1) Krypto evolution (reg sized). Would it be better to get a Krypto Mini and go the double-locking route, or should I buy 4' of chain and go that route? I'm assuming that my current, casual locking methods aren't going to hack it in the big apple.

Unless you plan on leaving the bike alone for long periods of time, bring just the U-lock and you should be fine.

Yeah, and chances are it'll be next (or close to) to a vintage Carlton. Us Pista and Porter types have nothing to worry about.

True. I may have just been looking for an excuse to buy a mini lock, since there are times that I'd prefer not to ride with the Full Kit (big bag, spares, pump, etc.) and just want a lock in my back pocket.
