At the FDR memorial.
"We must scrupulously guard the civil rights and civil liberties of all citizens, whatever their background. We must remember that any oppression, any injustice, any hatred is a wedge designed to attack our civilization."

The same FDR who put Japanese-Americans into concentration camps?

I see, my bad. I thought he might have been just some white kid with more than he needed.

I forget about all the BU housing. That's still a bourgeois area.

"good ol boy"? Seems you're the one preaching hate, not me.

PS: I happen to think it's wrong for our government to lock people up in concentration camps, then build monuments to the man who did it all while telling us we are free. Sorry.

(I think he was talking about your confederate flag avatar.)

baldylocks 03-10-07 03:52 PM

I know he was talking about your avatar. I'm not presuming anything about you, but that flag doesn't represent anything even remotely good no matter how you slice it. To use a flag that stands for the folks fight FOR slavery and then try to get all PC is a bit conflicted.

Kilgore_Trout 03-10-07 04:03 PM

political views and all that aside, we all bike, we all like bikes, so lets post more pictures of where you bike, as that is what this thread was designated for.
thanks.

Actually, it stands for States Rights, freedom, and local pride.

Roche, could you please refrain from ruining one of the few genuinely interesting threads on Bike Forums of late? Thanks.
