That brutalist monstrosity is Boston City hall, at government center.
The whole government center around city hall in boston is awful especially in contrast to old building and areas in that vicinity. There was an area near kendall square by the garment district that look like it was designed by the same folks.
Yeah, city hall was built during the late 60's so it has that era's special "ain't no students burnin' this down" architecture.
BU's law school building is a hideous work of brutalist architecure. whose smart-a*s idea was it to mix ugly 60s architecture while having really nice colonial architecture only a few blocks away?^

A-1 is the headquarters right? I believe that has been there for quite awhile. Its been awhile since I've seen blown away.
The heaquarters is right behind Northeastern on Tremont Street. It's a huge glass building. Is A1 downtown?
A-1 is on new sudbury I think or the next street over. Its between congress and cambridge str. by haymarket.
Ok, I remember where the HQ is. |
Here's a bunch from PDX. I can't wait to move back after graduation; these weekend visits just aren't enough.

can I bum a weedito?
I get pretty jealous of all that I see come out of PDX. Is it really as great as it seems?
depends on what you do and who you know
PDX is pretty amazing, as long as you don't let yourself get caught in any given routine; which I am sure is the same for any place really. The city just has so much to offer, but few seek it out.

I forget about all the BU housing. That's still a bourgeois area. |
