Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I may have already posted this, but man, I love this beer. I've been drinking the draft all over the city over the last year and now my local store finally got it in bottles as well. Brewed in Berkeley.

Bikes: 60s Peugeot conversion, 2002 Santa Cruz Heckler, 2007 Bianchi "Everyone has one" Pista, Beat up Beach Cruiser

On special occasions, I'll have an Ommegang Three Philosophers.

Otherwise, I like Gordon Biersch Marzen or Newcastle.

But in reality, I'm a broke college student, so most of the time I'm drinking Natty Light or LongHammer.

Currently: coffee

Beer: Long Trail Double Bag & Unibroue La Maudite are favorite standards; local draft microbrews, preferably from cask, when I'm out.
Wine: Red, preferably Barolo...
Spirits: Macallan scotch, Sailor Jerry rum, New England Egg Nog (seasonal)

Mixed drink: Pepperspray--Take 6 habaneros and throw them in a quart mason jar; fill with a bottle of 100 proof vodka; let steep for a week at room temp. Decant vodka into a bottle, discard peppers. Pour 2oz in a highball glass with or without ice, remainder is 1/2 lemonade, 1/2 selzer. Commercial pepper-flavored vodka will work in a pinch, but you don't get a real heat kick unless you add some yourself...
