Update on Torrin Arnold / Lucklust

https://www.marinij.com/marin/ci_3566663

Per District Attorney, Case dropped because medical evidence showed Arnold faking blindness all along.

Bikes: I built the Bianchi track bike back up today.

Arnold boasted about his aggressive riding on the Internet and claimed to be riding "brakeless," but later said his writing had been fiction that he was quite proud of.
Guess bikeForums can come back to bite you. I got an update PM awhile ago saying that his sight was slowly coming back. Guess that was faked too?

And this is why people involved in accidents should keep their mouths shut.

Bikes: not enough

haha... Torrin Danger Arnold... "Danger's my middle name baby" I don't know how he could experience road rage when everynight he gets to go out and use that line at the bar. I don't really know enough about the case to comment any furthur than that.

if any of this is true, i do not see how this would instantly drop a criminal case. the fact that Arrigoni tried to kill Lucklust using his vehicle as a deadly weapon remains.

"A jubilant Arrigoni left the courtroom with an entourage for a celebratory lunch at Le Chalet Basque after the hearing."

That's journalism, baby.

i think the argument is that, if arnold lies about something so huge as going blind, that his honor can't really be trusted for anything else.

I want to write a letter to the truck driver explaining that all cyclists aren't ******s like that guy.
It's a big blow against how cyclists are percieved on the road.

i see what you mean, but how about the honor of the witnesses? i don't think the criminal charge was "caused blindess," the charge was "felony hit-and-run."

i just hope that at the civil proceedings, torins' attrns can use idiots' exuberance in his criminal exoneration to show that he is really not feeling any remoarse what- so -ever in his running over a person on a bicycle, because this in the end is what you did... regardless... prick

what a jerk, and to the tool(s) posting... i hope our paths cross one day

Every single time there is a newspaper article that can possibly reflect badly on Lucklust, it's always posted here by some "newbie." So I'd say so, yes.

ya it certainly seems to me that "they" (assuming "they" are affiliated with Arrigoni) are trying to convince us that lucklust is a bad person or something
