Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I can't really see from the pictures but is there no brake bridge on the kelly? Does that mean no fenders (well this probably doesn't matter to you! living in LA and what not).

p.s. DAMN! all matching black paul stuff, schweet! Now you just gotta get the crankset.

heres another SS cross check race pic. i totally schooled this guy on the downhill. being a SS MTBr racing cross is fun, bc roadies are extremely scared of going fast on anything but pavement.

Both of those are awesomely gorgeous. I love how old roadies can get reborn as utilitarian beasts.

Glad you're not swayed! An xc bike has long been on my list. The Kelley and ink's ride inspire me to do so.

**** I have not even been able to take mine off-road yet, but doing wheelies down the street, goin where ever the **** a i want, fountain hopping, fountain crashing, ripping down stairs, all around urban-cyclocross has proven to be way more fun than doing backwards circles, funny skids, and dumb trackstands anyday.
