Bikes: Richey Everest, Supercomp, Richey custom handbuilt Road, and others.
I don't like them, and I don't use them even on my DH bike. They limit brake and shift lever placement too much. I like light and narrow and run my mtn. bars at 18".

I have rises on one of my steeds chopped down to shoulder length. They took some time to get adjusted to climbing with, and doing trackstands, but now everything’s cool. They make hopping curbs easier for me and also, as already stated, they’re more responsive. Though for long distant rides, especially ones with long hills, I’ll put on drops or bullhorns.
